Common Cause Indiana is gearing up to assist voters who may encounter any difficulties during the upcoming May 7 Primary Election in Indiana. The organization will deploy an Election Protection team to provide support to voters in Marion County and operate the 866-OUR-VOTE hotline for those in need of assistance.

"Voters should feel safe and confident to vote on Tuesday and Common Cause Indiana is dedicated to providing peace of mind should issues arise. We know voters routinely encounter challenges and our volunteers help voters navigate the system to make sure their vote is submitted correctly. Every eligible voter should go vote on Tuesday,” emphasized Julia Vaughn, Executive Director of Common Cause Indiana.

The volunteers will be available at polling locations to address issues such as long lines, electioneering concerns, or voting machine malfunctions. Voters are encouraged to reach out by calling or texting 866-OUR-VOTE if they encounter any problems during the voting process.

Common Cause Indiana's proactive approach aims to ensure that every eligible voter can exercise their right to vote without hindrance. By offering support and guidance, the organization seeks to empower voters and promote a smooth voting experience on Election Day.
